Oats Dosa

Have Healthy Oats Dosa by adding less oil.

Ingredients

  •  1 cup oats
  •  1/4 cup wheat flour
  •  2 chopped onion
  •  1 teaspoon black pepper
  •  1 teaspoon salt
  •  1/4 cup semolina
  •  2 cup buttermilk
  •  3 chopped green chili
  •  1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Steps

  • Put the oats in a grinder and grind them to a coarse powder.
  • Then take a bowl and add buttermilk in it. Then add rava, wheat flour, oats powder, and salt. Mix all these ingredients properly.
  • Then grind the cumin seeds and peppercorns separately and add them to the batter prepared above.
  • Next, add the onions and green chilies. Give the mixture a nice stir.
  • Then, heat a non-stick pan over medium-high flame. Once the tawa is hot enough, pour a ladleful of the batter and spread evenly in a circular motion.
  • After a few seconds, apply oil around the edges and cook on both sides until cooked.
  • If you want to avoid oil at all costs, then you can make this Oats Dosa without oil too.
  • In that case, just pay extra attention to the gas flame. Make sure that the dosa is not cooked on high flame as it might stick to the pan.
  • Once done, remove and transfer to a plate.
