Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 cup wheat flour
- 2 chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup semolina
- 2 cup buttermilk
- 3 chopped green chili
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Steps
- Put the oats in a grinder and grind them to a coarse powder.
- Then take a bowl and add buttermilk in it. Then add rava, wheat flour, oats powder, and salt. Mix all these ingredients properly.
- Then grind the cumin seeds and peppercorns separately and add them to the batter prepared above.
- Next, add the onions and green chilies. Give the mixture a nice stir.
- Then, heat a non-stick pan over medium-high flame. Once the tawa is hot enough, pour a ladleful of the batter and spread evenly in a circular motion.
- After a few seconds, apply oil around the edges and cook on both sides until cooked.
- If you want to avoid oil at all costs, then you can make this Oats Dosa without oil too.
- In that case, just pay extra attention to the gas flame. Make sure that the dosa is not cooked on high flame as it might stick to the pan.
- Once done, remove and transfer to a plate.
